There is no simple solution, like I told Alex please check: 1) The COM port must appear in the Device Manager and has to be ready 2) USB must NOT be plugged into the application board 3) The COM port must be selected in the IDE 4) hold down SW1 while turning on Peripheral pulses on SPI can also cause problems, then plug off the periphery first. The bootloader thinks otherwise, he would have USB data from the Mega8 and starts USB mode. Regards Peter | |
